MSc Thesis Opportunity: GUI for 5G simulator (Python)

Thesis description

Modern telecommunication systems such as 5G have high levels of complexity and their study is typically done through computer simulations.

The objective of the thesis is to improve the usability of an existing simulator (written in Python) by designing and implementing a GUI. The work should integrate the existing workflows and allow the user to fully configure the relevant elements, transform them etc. The candidate can either improve the existing solution (based on tkinter) or choose a more modern toolkit and experiment with new ideas.

Qualifications

  • Master student in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Interest in GUI development.
  • Comfortable with Python
