Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our wireless algorithm team in developing the next-generation intelligent cellular network. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing deep learning algorithms that improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our cellular network. This includes developing hardware-optimized algorithms on multi-core AI hardware such as GPUs. You will work closely with our wireless algorithm team to collect and analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop hardware-optimized AI solutions to optimize the training and inference of real-time applications such as radio resource management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate AI solutions to optimize cellular network performance and efficiency
• Design and implement highly efficient algorithms for handling massive data collection and parallel processing for training and inference in radio applications
• Conduct research studies on new concepts and technologies for 6G Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture and implementations

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or similar, with a strong track record in fields such as deep learning, parallel/distributed computing, or reinforcement learning
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other programming languages commonly used for machine learning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in acquiring new knowledge and applying it at work

The following experience will give you a plus:

• Proven hands-on experience in machine learning-based algorithm design
• High-performance computing background, or experience in designing chipset-specific acceleration algorithms
• Experience with AI-core techniques and libraries (such as CUDA, Torch multi-processing, JAX, etc.)
