About the Project: Ferrite Embedded Ceramic Based Phase Shifter.
Department: MPE & Module Engineering Lab
In this work, we are expecting a theoretical research on the development of a tunable ferrite phase shifter inside ceramic filled waveguide. In the literature, waveguide based ferrite phase shifters (the phase shifters can be based on Reggia Spencer, Faraday Rotation or Edge Mode Propagation types) are well known and mature, but the dimensions pose a real difficulty for usage. Using high dK ceramics can be helpful in miniaturizing phase shifters, making it useful to utilize in smaller spaces.
Timeline
Given our current project schedules, we are looking for master’s students available to start in spring 2026.
